Alexandria "Ally" Timm is an Associate Attorney at J. Hardy Family Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where she integrates her financial background into family law, focusing on child custody and support, alimony, prenuptial agreements, and asset division. Her experience in financial analysis and estate planning allows her to provide clients with strategic guidance on the financial complexities of family law matters.

A Knoxville native, Ally graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where she held various leadership roles in Phi Mu Fraternity. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in April 2024. During law school, she was actively involved in Cumberland’s National Trial Team, Women in Law, and the Alabama Student Bar Association, where she competed in numerous trial and negotiation competitions. Her academic excellence was recognized with two CALI Scholars of Merit awards in both Domestic Relations and Alabama Civil Litigation Practice & Procedure for outstanding scholastic achievement.

Ally began her career at J. Hardy Family Law in 2022 as a law clerk, gaining hands-on experience in trial preparation and client advocacy. After passing the Alabama State Bar in October 2024, she transitioned into her current role as an Associate Attorney. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Young Lawyers Section, Family Law Section, and the Junior League of Birmingham.

Outside of her legal practice, Ally enjoys traveling, exploring Birmingham’s dining scene, attending barre classes, and spending time with friends and family.
